Money orders
A money order is a prepaid negotiable document purchased for the transmission of funds between a payer and a payee for which a stop payment cannot be placed.
Purchasing a money order at Pay2day:
- Pay2day money orders are available in Canadian currency only
- The cost to buy a money order (up to $1000 CDN) is the price of the money order purchased plus $4.50
- Additional money orders my be ordered at the same time for the price of the money order (up to $1000 CDN) plus $4.50
- The only acceptable methods of payment for a money order are cash or debit card (where available)
Cashing a money order:
- Money orders purchased at Pay2day may be cashed at any Pay2day location, alternative retail financial services outlet or financial institution in Canada
- Customers may be required to provide acceptable identification in relation to money order transactions including enquiries
